The manga was first adjusted into a theatrical anime film in 1995, Ghost in the Shell (GHOST IN THE SHELL/攻殻機動隊 , Gōsuto In Za Sheru/Kōkaku Kidōtai ), directed by Mamoru Oshii and animated by Production I.Grand. The soundtrack for the PlayStation game was released by Sony Music Entertainment Nihon as Ghost in the Shell: Megatech Body in 1997. [92] A ii CD limited edition was released in Europe also in 1997. [93]
The soundtrack for the Ghost in the Shell film was composed by Kenji Kawai and released by BMG Victor on March 29 1996.
The score for Stand Alone Circuitous was equanimous past Yoko Kanno and released by Victor Entertainment during the television show's circulate run. Creative person credits include Origa, hide, Scott Matthew, Ilaria Graziano, and Steve Conte.

Numerous statuettes and action figures have been released for Ghost in the Vanquish, primarily around the Stand Alone Circuitous versions of the characters with Motoko and Tachikoma being a central focus. Diverse figures have been produced from CM Corporation, [95] and Kaitendo. [96] Tachikoma figures take been produced by various companies, including one by the Good Smile Company in cooperation with Nendoron. [97] Other merchandise includes clothing, cardinal chains, notebooks, patches, numberless, posters and torso pillows. [98]
Bear on and influence
The Wachowskis, makers of The Matrix trilogy, have stated that the first Ghost in the Trounce picture past Mamoru Oshii, influenced their work. [99] They showed the Ghost in the Shell to producer Joel Silvery to bespeak the style and expect they wanted for The Matrix. James Cameron and Quentin Tarantino have also acknowledged the influence of Ghost in the Trounce's rococo plots and stylized visuals. [100]
